Preliminary Exercise: Camera Movement Videos

Image
This assignment is the camera movement video assignment. Camera movement is the way a camera shifts to visually narrate and shape a viewer's perspective of a scene. The purpose of this assignment is to learn about different camera movements we can use in our opening movie scene. Minerva J-G, which is me, was the camera person. I used an iphone 12 camera to record the videos. I was the director for this assignment. Lexi M., Ryan S., math teacher, and a whole class were the actors. The screenwriter was Micah G.    The technique that was the most uncomplicated demonstrating was zoom out. It was very easy to do. Preliminary Exercise: Camera Movement Storyboard

Image
This assignment is to create a storyboard with 9 camera movement techniques. With each camera movement we do, we have to create an action line, what shot size, camera angle, and camera framing it is. My team and I worked on it well together. I worked on most of the action lines, shot sizes, camera angles, and camera framing. Micah G. worked on some of the action lines and drew all of the pictures. Sage W. was sick so she did not come this week and did not get to work on this assignment.

Preliminary Exercise: Camera Movement Organizer

Camera movement is the way a camera shifts to visually narrate and shape a viewer's perspective of a scene. Camera movement is useful for building on a scene in a film. The movements can draw the attention of the view to something else or highlight an actor's performance. The person responsible for camera movement in production is the cinematographer.   Steven Spielberg is the director for the movies Ready Player One, Back to the Future, and Jurassic World: Dominion. In Jurassic World: Dominion the scene I like is when the camera is tracking Clarie's movement in the lake, when she's trying to not be found by a dinosaur.   Anthony Russo is the director for the movies Avengers: Endgame, Avengers: Infinity War, and Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The scene I love from Avengers: Endgame is when everyone comes together in the end to stop Thanos and his army. There was no camera movement when Thanos's army was running to fight, it was static.   The camera movements ...
