   Studying Media Studies is important because mostly everything is based on the media. There are many media forms. Some media forms are gaming media, outdoor media, and print media. The media I mostly use is digital media. My favorite media product is social media because it's a way to communicate and connect with people, the things people post is entertaining and beautiful, and you can post things that people can like, comment, and share. I love to watch things other people post, such as pictures and videos. The pictures can be pictures they took on trips they go on or a special event. The videos can be of them dancing, acting, telling a story, or doing their makeup. In my age group sometimes, we just want to find something to look at because we're bored, want to look at what is going on in other people's lives, or want to post what's going on in their own lives. Three things I find interesting in Media Studies are all the different media forms and products, what is considered old or new (contemporary) media, and that we will learn the elements of the various media forms.

      The type of film I would like to create is a drama and mystery film. I want to create it for teens and young adults because I want the film to be somewhat relatable to teens and young adult's lives. It will be about betrayal and friendship. I need to learn many things before creating the film, but some of those things are to edit videos and films and learn the elements of film making. It will be ready to be released when it’s due or before it’s due. Depends on when we start the film.

      Four strategies I will use to create my film and document blogging my journey are to manage my time wisely, revise my work and blogs, do not procrastinate, and ask for help on my work when I need it. Managing my time wisely will ensure I submit my blogs on time. My work and blogs will have little to no mistakes if I revise them. If I procrastinate, I will end up not doing my blogs and I will fall behind and might not be able to turn them in by the deadline to finish all blogs. Asking for help when I need it because I need to ensure that I understand what I’m working on, so my work makes sense and I’m not confused. This is how they will help me be successful in completing my component 1 blog with a high score.
